VMD products

Software we build
and own.

Software VMD owns, develops and evolves. Each product is named with its current stage and described no further than it has been built.

One engineering practice, pointed in two directions.

VMD engineers software, integrations, automation and AI systems for companies, and builds software it owns itself. The link between the two is engineering experience, systems knowledge and problem understanding — nothing carried over from client work, which stays the client’s.

Platform.

In development. What is listed below is the part that has been verified; where the platform is still heading is shown separately, under its own label.

  1. VMD AGENTIC

    In development

Enterprise Agentic & Decision Intelligence Platform.

    • Multi-tenant by architecture — row-level policies that deny by default, reads gated on membership and writes on a named permission, enforced in the database rather than in application code
    • Authentication, a permission model, system roles, atomic tenant provisioning and membership administration, with the screens to operate them
    • An audit trail that records consequential actions against the tenant and identity that performed them, readable inside the product
    • A decision trace on every figure the platform shows — its inputs, the rule applied and the evidence underneath, as a first-class surface rather than a debugging view
    • Business objectives as versioned records with their own provenance, and materiality logic that decides against the objective whether a difference deserves attention
    • Every number typed as measured, simulated, generated, forecast or unknown beside the number itself, with editorial description and derived finding kept visibly distinct
    Explore VMD AGENTIC →

Direction — The rest of the decision lifecycle — an agent runtime and the orchestration across agents, an approval surface, bounded execution and verification of an executed action — plus a connector abstraction for reading from enterprise systems. None of that is built, no agent runs on the platform today, and autonomous enterprise execution is not what it is being built toward.

Domain intelligence.

Vertical products on the same approach. Their stages differ, and each one states its own.

  1. VMD Energy Intelligence

    In development

    AI-native Energy Decision Intelligence.

    • An energy data model over sites, meters and validated interval measurements, with kW and kWh kept distinct and tariff data alongside
    • Deterministic analysis over that model — peak-demand analysis and anomaly detection, with the evidence behind each finding retained
    • Historical counterfactual analysis, and battery feasibility reasoning that states the physical reason a limit was reached
    • Demand forecasting for the next twenty-four hours, versioned and issued with a prediction interval, using only intervals that had closed when it was issued
    • Forward economic projection priced the way a demand charge settles — two projected monthly maxima compared — and verified afterwards against what the period cost
    • A declared production schedule and the grid connection limit applied as verdicts on an alternative, with a bounded deterministic search recording what it evaluated
    Explore VMD Energy Intelligence →

Direction — ERP contextualisation, production-aware planning, scenario simulation, recommendations and an economic decision workflow around them. Alternatives are evaluated and priced today; none is put forward as the one to take. Control of building systems, photovoltaics, storage and charging is not built.

  2. VMD Cyber Security Intelligence

    Research & development

    Agentic Security Intelligence.

  3. VMD Clinical Trial Intelligence

    Research & development

AI-native Clinical Decision Intelligence for clinical development and trial operations.

Standalone products.

All three are in development. What is written under each is what has been verified — where a product carries less, it is because there is less to state, not because it is smaller.

  1. HELIX

    In development

A multi-tenant enterprise intelligence application — it builds a semantic and operational model of a company’s data, then uses it for statistical analysis and governed AI explanation.

    • A business semantic layer: entities, relationships and metrics mapped onto the company’s own tables and columns, tenant by tenant
    • Business processes modelled as ordered states, each bound to the field and value that actually describes it in operational data
    • Deterministic statistical analysis — anomaly detection by z-score, interquartile range and rolling window, plus health scoring and trend analysis. No model involved
    • AI explanation with the statistics attached, and every model response validated against a strict schema before it reaches anyone
    • Company knowledge a person approves: the assistant proposes facts, a human confirms or rejects them, and only confirmed facts ground later answers
    • Read-only data access with encrypted credentials, live schema discovery and CSV ingestion
    • Multi-tenant by architecture — row-level isolation in the database, per-tenant rate limits, cost controls, AI policy and audit
    Explore HELIX →

Direction — Process simulation over the operational model and further data connectors. Approval and verification around an action are being developed once, as platform work in VMD AGENTIC, rather than a second time here. None of that is built.

  2. VMD CampSearch

    In development

An intelligent camping ecosystem for discovering campsites, services and gear.

    • Campsite discovery, catalogue and matching in one product, where it is currently spread across separate sites, booking platforms and maps
    • Two audiences: campers planning a trip, and campsite operators listing and managing their sites
    • Scope extends past campsites to the services and gear around them
    • Assisted discovery is part of the product direction — asking for a family campsite near a place, or for campsites along a route within a daily price
  3. SyncFrame Studio

    In development

    Professional video and telemetry synchronisation.

    • A standalone Studio application, not an internal framework
    • Synchronises video with telemetry data into one usable combined workflow
    • A working application exists and is under active development

Solution architectures.

A product is software VMD owns and releases on its own schedule. A solution is an architecture assembled around the systems a particular business already runs. Listed separately because what you would be getting is different.

  1. Operational AI

    Solution · Available

Reasoning connected to the systems a business already runs, with sources attached and a person holding the decision.

    Explore Operational AI →
  2. CRM Command Centre

    Solution · In development

Customer and operational intelligence in one surface — assembled per engagement rather than sold as a licence.
